Summer Camp

The secret is out! Connections Dance School is the place to be this summer. Spend a week with us dancing, playing, building, exploring, and learning! Campers will be sleeping soundly after days of adventure and fun.

Campers will get to spend time outdoors at Franklin St Park and Vickers Park each day (including visiting the Splash Pad at Franklin St when it gets hot!), creating art, learning some science, and of course moving their bodies. Each week has a different theme; explore all the options below.

All campers will receive a Summer Dance Camp Tee to wear to the park when we visit and to keep at the end of the week.

Families also have the opportunity to pick and choose their dates with “Drop-In” Options (registering Day by Day)

Registration is online through the Parent Portal on our Website (After creating a profile; Click Register-> Summer Camps 2023).

Popstars

This fun, high-energy camp will turn you into a pop princess! Create a look and perform powerful pieces to your favourite songs. Become confident and never be afraid to show the world who you are. Meet new friends and try all styles of dance like jazz, musical theatre, acro, and even some hip-hop!

Week 2: Primary Plus Grades 2-4

Jul 22-Jul 27

This fun, high-energy camp will turn you into a rockstar! Create a look and perform powerful pieces to your favourite songs. Become confident and never be afraid to show the world who you are. We will be making some huge messes, flinging colours around while creating extraordinary movement-based art. Meet new friends and try all styles of dance like jazz, musical theatre, lyrical with an emphasis on acro.

Week 3: Kinder JK and SK
Rainbows, Sparkles and Unicorns

5 Days - Mornings Only

Jul 29-Aug 2

This fun, inclusive week-long dance party is a great way to introduce or re-introduce a school-like setting early. Our program will allow children to explore movement, and creativity in a way meaningful to them. Instructors will be introducing dance styles like ballet, tap jazz, and acro; laying the beginning of a dance foundation that can continue to grow.

Week 4: Kinder Plus SK- Gr 1

In My Sparkle Era

Step into the world of Taylor Swift at "In My Sparkle Era" summer camp, where young dancers embark on a journey through music and movement. Amidst the sunshine and fresh air, children will craft their own era-inspired sets, guided by skilled instructors. From ballet to hip-hop, each day offers an immersive experience in diverse dance styles.
